XGS-600 Gauge Controller. The new Varian XGS-600 Gauge Controller makes the complex task of vacuum measurement simple for you. Now, multiple-gauge capacity, speed, flexibility, and intelligence are available to you in an easy-to-use, economical, compact package. The XGS-600 Gauge Controller accepts any of three different kinds of gauge cards, each for a different class of vacuum gauges: Convection gauges (thermocouple or Varian ConvecTorr); Hot-filament ion gauges; Inverted-magnetron (cold-cathode or Penning) gauges

Inverted-Magnetron Gauge Tubes. The Varian, Inc. Inverted-Magnetron Gauge Tubes produce accurate, repeatable pressure readings and may be used in dirty or corrosive applications. The inverted-magnetron design permits a broader measurement range, faster starting time, better accuracy, and superior repeatability compared with older Penning-type (cold-cathode) gauges. Their compact size permits greater flexibility in installation, while the locking high-voltage connector ensures safety and positive electrical contact.

MINERAL GLASS CABIN WINDOWS AND PANELS. Laser safety cabin windows from LASERVISION consist of a composite structure of a highly absorbing mineral glass and a thin neutral carrier glass.

MODULAR LASER BARRIER FRAMES FROM LASERVISION. Based on the lightweight and established Laser Safety Barrier material LASERVISION is offering a modular system, which fits the changing needs and requirements of laser users. The Laser Safety Barrier System is offered in form of different standardised modules. In all cases the frame consist of a 40mm square profile with integrated U-profiles to hold the laser safety plates.

LASER SAFETY SPECTACLE LAMBDA ONE. Designed especially for plastic laser protection, the full-wrap style of the LAMBDA ONE shield provides an unobstructed field of vision. It is available with a great variety of LASERVISION’s absorbing fi lters. The LAMBDA ONE is characterised by low weight and a very good fi t for nearly every user. MEDICAL LASER SAFETY EYEWEAR SPLIT SHIELD. Laser safety spectacle with reflective coating. The filters for which the SPLIT SHIELD was originally designed for are coated reflective filters. The special design of the multilayer structure in combination with carefully selected coating materials creates a reflective coating with very high optical density for the laser wavelength or wavelength combination. Due to the small blocking bandwidth of the filter the colour recognition of such filters is signifi cantly improved.

Laser safety windows are used as inspection windows in automated or manual laser material processing systems (welding, cutting, drilling) and allow supervision by the user without the need of a laser safety goggle.

LASER SAFETY GOGGLE PG ONE Model patients goggle / PG ONE. Especially for medical laser applications LASERVISION offers a new, unique patients goggle. The PG ONE is characterised by a comfortable fit and the ability to sterilisation. Therefore it is possible to remove the filters without any tool from the soft frame.

PIMAX 3 is available in 1Kx1K (PI-MAX3: 1024i) and 1024x256 (PI-MAX3: 1024x256) formats, ideal for time-resolved imaging and spectroscopy applications. It boasts innovations ranging from faster gating, to smarter control, to setup and execute challenging experiments easily right out of the box.

The new PI-MAX3 is a ground-up design that advances the intensified camera technology to the next level. As the newest addition to Princeton Instruments’ acclaimed ICCD camera line, it is a culmination of years of experience in designing gated camera technology and application knowledge. 

Phototubes are vacuum photodiodes that are used for moderate light levels. A photocathode converts the light into electrons which are captured by an anode. They can operate from vacuum ultraviolet (115 nm) to visible and even near infrared (850 nm). Biplanar phototubes feature a fast rise time of up to 60 picoseconds and are suitable for laser monitoring applications.

Microchannel Plates (MCPs). The Microchannel Plate (MCP) consists of millions of very-thin, conductive glass capillaries (4 to 25 micro meters in diameter) fused together and sliced into a thin plate. Each capillary or channel works as an independent secondary-electron multiplier to form a two-dimensional secondary-electron multiplier. The MCP shows a high detection efficiency to electrons and ions. It is also sensitive to a wide range of other radiation including UV, VUV, soft X-ray photons and neutrons.

Image intensifiers (I.I.) are capable of detecting and amplifying low light level images and were primarily developed for night time viewing and surveillance under moonlight or starlight. They are used in industrial product inspection and scientific research, such as fluorescence microscopy.

The photomultiplier provides extremely high sensitivity and ultra-fast response. Photomultiplier tubes (PMT) have high bandwidth and noise-free gain on the order of a million. This makes them ideal for the detection of extremely low light or short pulses of light. Photomultipliers can be used to detect photons from 115nm to 1700nm.
