Scientific Lasers 

n Modular Laser Systems . Modular' when referring to our lasers means the capacity to place an oscillator and amplifiers of various diameters on the same optical bench so that most user needs can be met. Quantel modular lasers are highly prized by research laboratories because of their high performance in terms of power, beam quality, stability and spectral purity.

 

Tunable Laser Systems   To meet the needs of your applications, Quantel also offers a tunable dye laser system (Tunable Dye Laser, TDL90) and an optical parametric oscillator (OPO). Our team of sales engineers will help you select the best laser source according to the exactitude and spectral range your experiment requires. The tunable dye laser is pumped either by the YG980 range or by Brilliant B lasers. Quantel is currently the only laser supplier that offers pump and dye laser integrated on a single optical bench. The mechanical rigidity of the system as a whole guaranties higher stability.

 

 

Scientific & Industrial Lasers

Brilliant EaZy, Brilliant & Brilliant B. Brilliant EaZy is a compact, lamp pumped Nd:YAG laser combining a new compact power-supply with the proven Brilliant laser head.The new power-supply/heat exchanger (14kg/ 31lb) occupies half the space of our previous power supply and allows mounting vertically or horizontally. Quick cable disconnects and an easy carrying handle allow the head and power supply to be separated for ease of transport. The coolant reservoir is back lit and will flash to alert the user of a low water condition. Inside, a heating element in the coolant loop actively temperature stabilizes the head and reduces laser warm up time.  Just plug into nearly any available wall plug outlet, 90-240VAC, and the Brilliant EaZy is ready for use. The oscillator produces 330mJ @ 1064nm, 5ns, with a high quality beam profile (M2<2). The Brilliant EaZy has excellent energy stability (<2%) and proven field reliability. The Brilliant EaZy features the same harmonic modules and wavelength separation optics as the Brilliant. They couple directly onto the laser head (including the electrical connections) and require no optical realignment. 

 

 

BRI O .The Brio was designed to meet the future needs of our scientific and industrial customers. Design efforts focused on efficiency, reliability, ease-of-use and maintenance. This compact laser can be supplied with detachable harmonic generator modules. Quantel's Franco-American team has succeeded in making theBrioa reference in Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers.

ULTRA & CFR . The CFR was designed to meet the needs of industrial, scientific and medical applications such as LIDAR, PIV and remote measurement. The system, based on Quantel USA's experience in military defence lasers, was designed for easy use in even the harshest environments.Whether you are looking for a laser to operate in "real-world" applications, or simply looking to free up room on your lab table, the CFR may be your answer CFR Series come equipped with a compact case that includes an air/water cooler and electronics.

Multipulse Laser Systems dedicated to particle imaging velocimetry.  A non-intrusive optical measurement      technique to measure fluid or particle velocity vectors at many points in a flow field simultaneously. Quantity and quality measurements are usually made in “Planar slices” of the flow field. 

 

Rainbow : Broadband OPO  . Rainbow tunable lasers are turnkey systems that use Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers in the Brilliant and Brilliant B series as pump lasers.  These pump lasers are doubled, tripled or quadrupled in frequency. All Rainbow systems have 'Magic Prism' OPO from Opotek Inc which converts the YAG laser's wavelengths into a continuously tunable

  

Pizzicato. Picosecond laser system .   All solid-statemode-locked picosecond Nd :YAG laser with high performances. Based on a unique design, the Pizzicato features low jitter, high pulse-to-pulse stability with synchronization capability. The all solid state design is free from the constraints of previous designs that used liquid saturable absorbers whilst maintainingshort pulse durations of 35ps  

 

Laserblast. Given industry's growing interest in solid-state lasers for the treatment or preparation of surfaces (deflashing, cleaning, deoxydation, marking, etc.), Quantel now sells a range of lasers specially designed for surface preparation.  The process, based on a photomechanical effect, provides contactless, non-aggressive cleaning with light pulses (no abrasives, sand, chemical products or water).These laser systems offer a wide range of possibilities for treating surfaces and restoring monuments, and provide the only efficient solution that does not damage the support or the environment. A number of systems are already operating successfully 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on production lines.  

 

Fiber laser. World leader on the solid-state laser market, Quantel chose to develop a very promising technology based on fiber laser as active medium. Joining the best world specialists in this field for the systems design, we propose a new line of innovating products reliable and low-cost, and a service close to you.
